Our Story

Shelter of Love was born from a quiet realisation that stayed deeply rooted in Pamela Bassoum’s heart. Growing up in Lomé, she was surrounded by acts of kindness and unconditional generosity, yet she could also feel the unspoken pain carried by many around her.

Years later, in Geneva, she encountered a different world, but the same silent struggles. Behind the beauty and opportunity, she saw loneliness, emotional distress, and people suffering in silence. It was in that moment that something became clear to her. Support alone was not enough. People needed a place where they could feel safe, understood, and allowed to heal.

With this feeling, Shelter of Love was created. A space where compassion meets action, where hearts are supported as much as lives are rebuilt, and where no one has to face their struggles alone.
